NASCAR Acceleration 2013 takes place Friday through Sunday, February 8th through 10th in Charlotte, North Carolina, home to the NASCAR Hall of Fame and many team shops. Among the events during the three-day event : the 2013 Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony and Hall of Honor exhibit opening and NASCAR Preview 2013.
The Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, taking place Friday, February 8th, begins at 4 p.m. ET with appearances by living members of the 2010, 2011 and 2012 Hall of Fame classes at the Hall of Fame in uptown Charlotte. The Induction Reception begins at the Charlotte Convention Center Ballroom at 5 p.m. ET, followed by the dinner and jacket presentation at 6 p.m. ET. The Induction Ceremony begins at 7:30 p.m. ET in the Crown Ballroom at the Convention Center.
NASCAR Preview 2013, an all-day event on Saturday, February 9th, also takes place at the Convention Center. Featuring more than 50 NASCAR drivers for autograph sessions and question-and-answer sessions, doors open at 7 a.m. ET, with the event lasting until 5 p.m. ET. In addition, there will be interactive displays, giveaways, tech talks and more. At 4 p.m. ET, Hall of Famer Junior Johnson will host “Junior Johnson’s Midnight Moon Shine and Sign,” featuring a Q-and-A and autograph session, plus the opportunity to sample Johnson’s Midnight Moon moonshine.
At 9 a.m. ET on Sunday, February 10th, the Granite Marker Unveiling will take place at the Hall of Fame Garden.
