Update to Hawai`i tsunami advisory

The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center posted an update advisory at 5:46 PM Hawai`i time.

The update states that based on all available data, a major tsunami is not expected to strike the state of Hawai`i.

It does advise, however, that sea level changes and strong currents may occur along all coasts.

This could pose a hazard to swimmers and boaters,as well as persons near the shoreline, including at beaches, harbors, and marinas.

Sea conditions can remain dangerous for several hours after the initial wave's arrival.
