Update: The Obamas' date cost taxpayers $250K?

Phoenix Republican Examiner
Since the White House refuses to release the cost of a New York date, the public has been in the dark on how much we paid for the First Couple’s romantic evening. Early estimates indicated it cost taxpayers at least $24K for the Obamas’ big taxpayer date night…and that’s just for the planes.
Here’s an article from the Washington Times that gives us a better estimate of what it takes (costs) the taxpayers to shut down the streets of New York and carry an entourage of wife and aides for a night out on the town.

Not too long ago Congress was chastising the car industry CEOS for using private jets for an afternoon jaunt to Washington....at least that was for business and on company money, not for pleasure on tax payer's money
How often and how much did GWB spend commuting back from his vacation property at Crawford, TX?
Um, Bush didnt spend 250k for a photo op, shutting down small family operated shops (costing them money)and wasting tax payers money so he and his arrogant racist wife could lavish it up on the town. ESPECIALLY IN A TIME LIKE THIS....He went to his home, and stayed there......BIG DIFFERENCE..The Obamanites need to wake up...Sooner would be better than Later. This is worse than Michelle bragging about her $500 shoes at a Feed the Poor benefit awhile back..Tasteless,arrogant,and wrong. We pay it..yet he wont tell us what it cost..People like this have made be 100% sure that there is a HUGE difference between being a Dem,and liberal......
why are you hating?at least they do theirs in the public eye.Not undercover. You have no clue what others have done or spent.so until you walk in the shoes of someone don't judge. The bible clearly states judge not lest ye be judged.only God knows what he is doing, and you do not question his judgement.Isn't that what true christians are to do.DUH!
