Still, police have not released a motive for the murder that happened on Nov. 25.
Mr. Walton, 30, was shot multiple times that Monday night in southwest Atlanta, and he was transported to Grady Memorial Hospital where he died, police said.
The investigation began around 9 p.m. when officers responded to 1165 Arlington Ave. after getting a 911 call about a person shot, police spokesman Officer John Chafee previously reported.

The preliminary investigation indicates that the driver came to the location and may have been involved in some type of dispute, Officer Chafee said.
