A man was found shot to death on sidewalk earlier this month in northeast Atlanta and on Tuesday police said they have caught the man they believe killed him.
But they have not released a motive for the murder or said how they linked the suspect to the crime.
The investigation began on Oct. 5 when officers responded to 579 Boulevard after getting a call about a person shot, according to the police report.
They found the 34-year-old victim dead on the sidewalk from a gunshot wound to the chest, police have said.
“The preliminary investigation indicates that this may be the result of an earlier argument that escalated to gunfire,” Officer Chafee has said. It’s unclear what the argument was about.
Mr. Dean remained in jail Tuesday night without bail, according to booking records.
