Tinton Falls, NJ - Kisha Curtis, the woman accused of starving the much loved Pit bull "Patrick" to the brink of death, pleaded not guilty today in court and refused a plea deal.
Per the NJ SPCA,
Next steps are Prosecutor and Defense have until Feb 17th to exchange Discovery and the next actual Court date is March 19th @ 1:30 PM.
Those who have been following this heart-breaking case are continually frustrated with the delays and Curtis' apparent want for denying her part in Patrick's horrific condition.
Curtis has admitted that she failed to provide proper sustenance to Patrick, but she denies throwing his emaciated body down the trash chute.
