A follow up is in order regarding February 15th story about Houston animal torturers and dogs like Theo and Vincent whose lives were in jeopardy.

Rescuers and caretakers were working to monitor the dumpsite where skulls and carcasses turn up on a daily basis. Every day, Rhonda Heffernan and fellow animal lovers feed and care for the animals being dumped illegally at this dumpsite. Every day, they fear that dogs like Theo and Vincent will be the next dead dogs’ bodies at this terrible Houston, Texas version of the killing fields.
Today was one of those very rare days when Stop the Crosby Puppy Massacres members shared a great blessing. Kelle Mann David of the group was able to trap Vincent and Theo after months of attempts. These poor dogs, with history of being shunned and hurt by society, weren’t too trusting. Kindness won out again and the dogs were caught and safely transported to the vet.
More good news for Vincent who checked out with high scores at the vet and is now with boxer rescue. Theo is still looking for a rescue to consider accepting him into their program. He is very docile and sweet, only 49 pounds and heartworm negative.
Please consider Theo as a rescue candidate. He deserves a stroke of good luck.
