Update on Plaza fire

The fire that exploded at the Plaza has some disturbing news. A report has been issued from the City of Kansas City, Mo. that a body has been recovered from the scene. The identity is under investigation.

At least nine injured were transferred to hospitals last night and six are still hospitalized. According to the press release, "three are in critical condition, one is in serious condition and two are stable. Three patients have been released."

Residents are advised to avoid sections of Belleview Avenue and Roanoke Parkway and 47th Street and Ward Parkway.
