Earlier this week, a special request was sent out via social media for a cancer-stricken dog named "Foz."
Foz, a seven-year-old pit bull, has terminal cancer and at the time that the plea went out, he was sitting at an animal shelter in Santa Barbara, Calif. Individuals aware of the situation were clamoring to find a real home for Foz to reside in, until his time to pass arrived.
On Friday evening, Janelle Ward, President of K-9 PALS, emailed the National Dog News Examiner with the following update:
Oh my gosh, I have been overwhelmed the numbers of emails and calls about Foz... Yes, we picked up Foz yesterday and he went to his foster home last night. He's in a good home.
Thanks to everyone who took the time to network on Foz's behalf.
