Branson, the town where "the show must go on," is already at work assessing damage, helping each other, and making decisions that will affect shows scheduled to open in the next few weeks. Thanks to emergency workers and fellow citizens, help is reaching those who need it.

Branson Landing, the Hilton Hotel, several theaters, motels, restaurants and businesses sustained damage. The strip (Hwy 76) is closed today for cleanup. Schools are out due to power outages. KY3.com has an online collection of photos of the damage.

The JR Motel, Branson Variety Theater, Americana Theater and a new burger restaurant are among the businesses that suffered significant damage.

Kimberling City, Branson West, Buffalo and Lebanon also received damage.

Many people in the Ozarks are without power, Internet and cable. Utility crews are at work to restore services. Phones are busy with Facebook and Twitter updates as people connect with family and friends to let them know they are safe or if they need help.
