Update: NASCAR Preview 2012 in Charlotte on January 21st

Over 50 drivers from NASCAR’s top three series will be participating in the inaugural NASCAR Preview 2012, taking place Saturday, January 21st. The event is part of NASCAR Acceleration Weekend, Friday through Sunday, January 20th through 22nd.

In addition to the Preview, the NASCAR Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony for the Class of 2012 takes place Friday evening. The Class of 2012 inductees are Darrell Waltrip, Cale Yarborough, Glen Wood, Dale Inman and Richie Evans.

Wristbands will be distributed beginning Saturday morning, January 21st at 7 a.m. ET in the Charlotte Convention Center Ballroom, allowing access to the Ballroom autograph sessions from drivers like Kyle Busch and Matt Kenseth (9:15 to 10:45 a.m. ET), Jeff Gordon, Jimmie Johnson and Denny Hamlin (10:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. ET), Kevin Harvick and Brad Keselowski (noon to 1:30 p.m. ET), Kasey Kahne and Ryan Newman (1 to 2:30 p.m. ET), and Kurt Busch and Tony Stewart (3:15 to 4:45 p.m. ET).

Additional driver appearances will take place in the Exhibit Hall, including Travis Pastrana, Mark Martin, Joey Logano, Casey Mears and Jeff Burton (9 to 10:30 a.m. ET); Marcos Ambrose, Clint Bowyer, Brian Scott, Trevor Bayne and Ricky Stenhouse Jr. (11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. ET); and Danica Patrick, Martin Truex Jr., and Ty and Austin Dillon (3 to 4:30 p.m. ET).

The NASCAR Preview will also feature driver question-and-answer sessions, car displays featuring legendary paint schemes and new 2012 colors, sponsor displays and interactive activities. Doors open at 7 a.m. ET, with the event getting underway at 9 a.m. ET and lasting until 5 p.m. ET.

Tickets for the event are $10 in advance through www.ticketmaster.com and $15 at the door; a $20 ticket including admission into the Hall of Fame is also available, as is a $299 package featuring all Acceleration events including the Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony.
