Horse women take to the stage and show off the latest fashions at Spiegle Farm, home of the Blue Ridge School of Equestrian Arts (BRSEA) in Campobello, South Carolina. PJ’s Fashion of Landrum, South Carolina, split the stage with the models and designs of the BRSEA.
Sue Spiegle, the founder of the equine school, is an avid designer and sculptor, and many of her creations were modeled by both the students and instructors of the school, in the main ball room and lecture hall. Kelly Steinman, of PJ’s Fashion, was the primary model showing off the latest fashions, that she and her mother sell at their store on Main Street in Landrum. The Blue Ridge School of Equestrian Arts maintains a staff of some of the most talented equine trainers and instructor in the region. The school, which is in the early stage of startup, offers all aspect of equine training, care and riding disciplines. Art design and sculpture classes are other offerings this school provides.
Just across the border from North Carolina, BRSEA sits on one of the most spectacular equine training facilities in the area. Not far from BRSEA is the home of the Foothills Equestrian Nature Center, an internationally known, 370 acre recreation and nature center.
