Upcoming tournament at Painted Dunes Desert Golf Course uses the Two-Person Bramble Format

What is a Bramble, you may ask? A Bramble Format is a unique format that utilizes a combination of the Scramble Format and the Best Ball Format. In this February 27, 2010 tournament to be held at Painted Dunes Desert Golf Course competitors will form two-person teams and play Scramble on the front nine followed by a Best Ball on the back nine.

This tournament is just one of many golf tournaments offered by the Painted Dunes Desert Golf Course for golfers who get the opportunity to compete in fair competition against other golfers who have valid USGA Handicaps.

Tee Times for this Saturday morning event start at 10:00a.m., February 27. The $45.00 entry fee for the tournament includes the green fee, cart rental, prize fund, meal, and two drink tickets! This is a fantastic bargain for the chance to play a competitive round of golf on a course that has earned so many accolades from national golf publications over the years as one of the best municipal golf courses in the United States.
