Monday 4/23: Kobra Klutch presents I Set My Friends On Fire - Doors at 6pm - ALL AGES (Sonar) - Tickets for the show are $11 in advance or $13 at the door. I Set My Friends On Fire released their first album in 2007 and I could have sworn they had broken up sometime between then and now. However, it's 2012 and they'll be in Baltimore. Check out the show because they're never around and if they are, I never hear about it. I personally recommend you check out Greeley Estates, they've been making music since 2002 and I have no idea how they're still at it, but go Greeley! I would put Greeley on one of those "hardest working bands" in the world list. While they've been around for a decade now, I still can't tell you a single song and I know they're still touring the world.

Openers for the night: Greeley Estates, A Bullet For Pretty Boy, A Lot Like Birds, Innovations, and Quarantine The King.

Sonar is located at 407 E. Saratoga St. Baltimore, MD 21202.

Parking lot, street parking, and nearby garages available.

Tuesday 4/24: Into It. Over It. - ALL AGES - Doors at 6pm (Charm City Art Space) Ticket price is not listed, I'm sure it's something minimal. I think the highest I've paid for a show at Charm City was about $7 or $8.

Into It. Over It.'s Evan Weiss has been touring all over the place since 2001, with different projects and with his current - Into It. Over It. He's going to be making a stop to Baltimore on Tuesday night. I have yet to venture to the new CCAS which is just next door to the old one. I hear there's a bit more breathing room, which always makes for a good time.

Into It. Over It. is currently on a mini headlining US tour.

Openers for the night: Eyes Wide, Boatrocker, D'artagnan, and Foozle.

Into It. Over It. has also announced The Fest 11 (2012) in Gainesville, FL.

Charm City Art Space is located at 1731 Maryland Ave. Baltimore, MD 21201.

Street parking and nearby garages. (Watch for meters and signs when street parking)

Thursday 4/26: La Dispute - ALL AGES - Doors at 7pm | Show at 7:30pm (The Ottobar) - Tickets are $12 in advance and at the door possibly a few dollars more. Many friends of mine are big La Dispute fans. I was able to check them out last year at the Fest in Gainesville, FL (2011), it was a great show. I suggest everyone sees this band at least once.

Friday 4/27: Squeeze - ALL AGES - Doors at 7pm | Show at 8pm - (Rams Head Live!) - Tickets are SOLD OUT. I think you might know who Squeeze is, they're from London and started doing the music thing in the mid 70's. They've been going strong since then. They've broke it off a few years, then got back together, some members left, some members joined - they're still touring! I can usually find myself humming the song, "Tempted", daily.

Openers for the night: The English Beat.

Rams Head Live! is located at 20 Market Place Baltimore, MD 21202.

The duo is also known for their songwriting abilities. The duo is known for cowriting Keith Urban's "You Gonna Fly" which was released on his album, Get Closer.

Sunday 4/29: The All-American Rejects - Doors at 7pm | Show at 8pm (Rams Head Live!) - Tickets are $30 and available online and at the door.

The All-American Rejects have been making music since 1999, I became aware of the band around 2003 and have been a fan since. I've seen them a few times since 2003 and it's not a show to miss. I can't wait to see this band again, I haven't seen them since about 2007 or 2008, so my AAR dance time is overdue.

Openers include: A Rocket To The Moon.

Rams Head Live! is located at 20 Market Place Baltimore, MD 21202.

Numerous parking garages within walking distance of Rams Head Live!

Remember when parking anywhere, lock up your vehicle and hide all your valuables. If you don't do this, you might be hurting yourself in the end. I feel like this should be common sense, but just in case you don't have that, here's your advice.

More advice, this is my opinion of where you should be. All information listed for the above shows was taken directly from the venues respective websites. Prices, times, and more can all change - so please check out the websites before heading down to the show!

The music scene is alive and well in Baltimore and you should support it!

To better prepare you for the week, I made one crazy Spotify playlist to prepare you for all the music coming this way! If you have Spotify, you can listen to the playlist here: Week of April 23rd, 2012.
