Upcoming shows at Mac's Bar for May and June 2010

Over the next two months some great bands will be coming to Lansing, MI's Mac's Bar. Courtesy of local booker Scott Bell, here is some information about each upcoming show.

Taking the stage will be Valdosta, GA's Ninja Gun (left), Lansing's own Frank and Earnest, as well as Cheap Girls along with Newark, Delaware's The Casting Out and Flint, MI's Empty Orchetra. ALL AGES /$8/ 7pm

Then, on May 20th, 2010 the UK's Sonic Boom Six (right) and their almost unclassifiable hybrid of punk, hiphop, ska and reggae will be grooving up Mac's Bar. The band is pumped about this show as it is their first time in Michigan. Let's make it a memorable time for them! Joining them to co-headline will be punk rockers We are the Union. Also supporting will be Piece of Mind and The Knockout. 5pm/ ALL AGES/ $8-$10

Finally capping off an incredible two months of upcoming shows will be Epitaph Records' Off with their Heads, (left) from Minneapolis, Minnesota at Mac's Bar on June 14th, 2010. The band's brand of punk rock will be ready to devestate your eardrums. Playing along with them will be No Idea Records band Dear Landlord. About Off with their Heads, Scott Bell says "Off with their heads have been absolutely packing DIY basement shows for about 4 years throughout Grand Rapids and Kalamazoo and this is their first tour since signing to Epitaph". *Please check for more information regarding this show as it becomes available*
