He has written everything from short stories to full size novels that can be more than 1,000 pages long. His latest release is “Mr Mercedes” and it will be available everywhere on June 3, 2014.

The story in “Mr Mercedes” begins on a gloomy morning in a distressed Midwestern city as hundreds of unemployed line up for a job fair. Out of nowhere a ruthless driver in a Mercedes rams through the unsuspecting crowd killing eight people and wounding fifteen. The killer drives on and flees the scene never to be seen again.

Detective Bill Hodges was originally assigned to the case but he has since moved on and is retired but he is still haunted by the unsolved crime. He is bored and depressed and misses the thrill of the chase when he was going after criminals. Until he gets a disturbing letter from someone claiming to be the Mercedes Killer and threatening another attack.

Brady Hartfield loved the thrill of the kill while driving the Mercedes and longs to feel that rush again. His next attack has the propensity to kill or wound many more and the only one that can stop him is Bill and two unlikely allies in this new good versus evil detective novel.
