Jonathan Kellerman is a clinical psychologist and the bestselling author of psychological suspense novels. He has written more than thirty novels but he is known mostly for the popular Alex Delaware detective series. His newest Alex Delaware novel, “Killer” is due to be released on February 11, 2014.
Alex Delaware is a forensic psychologist who first appeared in Kellerman’s first novel “When the Bough Breaks” in 1985. These novels are set in Los Angeles where Alex often helps out his friend LAPD Detective Milo Sturgis by consulting in his investigations.
In “Killer” Dr Alex Delaware becomes involved in a child custody case between a successful physician named Constance Sykes and her sister. When the case ends in murder Alex wants nothing more to do with the case. Until the little girl in the middle of the bitter court battle disappears and Alex knows he must work with Milo in Hollywood to save her life.
Born in New York City and raised in Los Angeles, Jonathan Kellerman received a BA in psychology from UCLA. He has worked extensively in that field and his nonfiction writings include “Savage Spawn: Reflections on Violent Children” as well as medical texts, essays and scientific articles. His wife Faye Kellerman is also a bestselling crime novelist and together they have written “Double Homicide” and “Capital Crimes.”
