“Alex Cross, Run” is the new James Patterson book scheduled to be released on Monday February 18, 2013. There is no co-author on this one and it is book number twenty in the Alex Cross series.
In this Alex Cross novel top plastic surgeon Elijah Creem is known for having wild parties that include underage exotic dancers and models and nights of drugs, champagne and uninhibited sex. That is, until Alex Cross arrests him and ruins his life. After he gets out of jail he makes sure he remains under the radar by giving himself a new face.
Meanwhile in Washington, D.C. there are rumors of a possible serial killer on the loose and the city is understandably in a panic. A woman is found murdered in her car, another hanging from a sixth-floor window and by the time the third mutilated body is found, Alex Cross is under pressure to solve these gruesome cases. What he doesn’t realize is that behind the shadows someone is watching him and obsessed with getting vengeance.
