A prolific author of novels, short stories and essays, as well as being the editor of three anthologies, Laura Pritchett is also a teacher and writing coach living in Colorado. She is a faculty member of Denver's Lighthouse Writers. Tonight she'll be reading from and signing her new novel, Stars Go Blue.

Stars Go Blue is a triumphant novel of the American family, buffered by the workings of a ranch and the music offered by the landscape and animal life upon it. With an unflinching look into the world of Alzheimer's, both from the point of view of the afflicted and the caregiver, the novel offers a story of remarkable bravery and enduring devotion, proving that the end of life does not mean the end of love.

Barb Schmidt has spent nearly ten years giving workshops and seminars on how to train one's mind toward achieving peaceful living. She is the founder of Peaceful Mind, Peaceful Life. Tomorrow she will be reading from, signing, and sharing insights from her new book. The Practice, in which she presents everything she's learned and practiced in over three decades on her spiritual path.

The Practice is a toolkit to guide people who are looking for confidence, less stress, and deeper meaning along life's path. These tools are a compilation of the great Truths taught by teachers throughout the centuries.
