This September, be prepared to network your way into a new job. Job seekers looking for employment should take advantage of upcoming career fairs beginning September 10 in the bay area, as well as the Sacramento area.
Networking via job fairs is an essential aspect of searching for a job. Although it can be effective to search for jobs online, being able to put a face with a resume and speak directly with hiring managers and human resources at top companies greatly puts both parties at an advantage of filling job openings.
With that said, it is always important to come prepared to a career fair; have multiple copies of your resume, dress professional, and be well-rehearsed with your message that sells you to a company. For more preparation tips, click here.
