Halloween is often centered around costumes and candy. This year, incorporate some healthy fun by participating in a Halloween themed walk/run while helping charitable organizations. Read on for a list of upcoming events in Dallas, Garland, and Fort Worth!

DHWI Healthy Harvest Fun Walk and 5K Run in Dallas
The goal of this event is to promote awareness and raise money for the programs of the Diabetes Health and Wellness Institute (DHWI) an affiliate of Baylor Health Care System and Baylor University Medical Center. Fright Night 5K and Fun Run in Garland
The running events will be on October 31 at 342 West Oates Rd in Garland, and will benefit Jonathan's Place. For 15yrs, Jonathan’s Place has been taking care of the Dallas area’s youngest victims through a home-style emergency shelter for abused, abandoned, and neglected children, a Foster & Adoptive Family program, and a Girls Treatment program for girls 10-17yrs. Fort Worth Trick or Trot 5k
