Michelle Kelly, owner of Pure Knead bakery in Decatur, will be teaching two hands-on allergen-friendly/gluten-free cooking classes at Cook's Warehouse in May and June. Both of these classes are hands on, which means attendees will learn new cooking/baking techniques along with recipes that are easy to make, delicious, and are unidentifiable as gluten free.
The first class, A Gluten-Free Spring Brunch, is on May 4 at the East Cobb location from 10:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. and costs $65 per person to attend. The class boasts a verbose menu that includes: Smoked Salmon Stack with Cantaloupe and Mint, Arugula Salad with Herb Vinaigrette, Bacon Frittata Cups, Brioche Rolls with Fresh Fruit Jam, and Fruit-Flavored Mimosas.
The second class is on June 19 at the Decatur location from 6:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. and the theme for this class is an Italian Picnic. Michelle will have just returned from a trip to Italy, so the class will also include a surprise recipe inspired by her travel finds. The menu for the class includes: Rustic Flatbread with Orange and Fennel Salad, Beef and Herb Involtini (wrapper of meat filled with herbs) Roasted Tomatoes with White Balsamic, and Blackberry Lime Bars.
If you would like to sign up to attend either of these classes, please visit Cook's Warehouse website, click on Cooking Classes, sort the classes by Chef, and then click Reserve. Each class only holds 16 people, so hurry and reserve a spot soon!
I am looking forward to the Italian Picnic class. Which class are you likely to attend?
