Jan 28th- Saraswati Puja: Bengali Cultural Association of Arizona is organizing its annual Saraswati Puja or Vasant Panchami celebrations on Jan 28th at the IACRF Hall in Phoenix. The religious services would be held during the daytime and the evening would be filled with delicious Indian food and cultural events. It is a ticketed event. Jan 28th –India NITE: India Association along with its sister associations would be celebrating India’s 63rd Republic day with food, music, dances and plays from the Indian subcontinent at Arcadia High School in Phoenix. Mar 24th- India Festival: Indo-American Foundation of Arizona would be organizing India Festival on March 24th. The festival would be in line with the food festival being organized by the same organization at IACRF Hall in Phoenix every year that has food stalls from different states in India, jewelry and ethnic wear booths and also dances and other cultural events. It is a FREE event.

Mar 25th- Basant Mela: Pakistan Information and Cultural Organization (PICO) would be organizing its 10th Annual Basant Mela on March 25th. In previous years the highlight of this event had been flying hundreds of colorful paper kites which is a spring ritual in the Indian subcontinent. Visitors can also enjoy food booths, vendor displays for ethnic wear, jewelry and get henna tattoos on their palms. It is usually a FREE event.
