Upcoming Family Events in the Sycamore Area

As Easter approaches, the "blahness" of winter dispels. Sycamore area families can take advantage of the spring weather throughout a variety of activities this weekend on April 3, 2010.

7 AM--Families will eat breakfast with the Easter Bunny at the Sycamore Park District's Golf Course Clubhouse. For more information, please visit

10 AM--Families with children (toddlers to third graders) can go to Hopkins Park in DeKalb for an Easter Egg Hunt. For more information, please visit

1 PM--The Lions Club is hosting an Easter Egg Hunt as well. The hunt will be at Cortland Community Park. For more information, please call Tracy Burne at 815-909-0218.

10 AM until 4 PM--Kar-Fre Flowers is hosting Kites over Sycamore. There will be kite-making workshops for families. The kites will fly at noon.  Kids can also plant pumpkins. Lastly, families can munch on cotton candy and popcorn. For more information, call 815-895-6558.
