The Denver Museum of Nature and Science exhibit, BODY WORLDS & The Story of the Heart will provide a rare opportunity for learning this year. For now, Genghis Khan will grace our fair city until the 7th of February, which doesn't leave much time to visit and learn of his conquests.
BODY WORLDS & The Story of the Heart starts on Friday, March 12, 2010. All admission tickets will be on a timed basis, so it would be a very good idea to visit the Denver Museum of Nature and Science website for ticket information.
While waiting for Body Worlds, IMAX has Sea Monsters: A Prehistoric Adventure, ending February 18, 2010. Ultra-realistic computer animation sends the viewer back into the Late Cretaceous, when the sea was brimming with marine reptiles. The film displays the world before man became the dominant species.
Also showing is Wild Ocean, a film designed to display the association of man and our endangered ocean ecosystem. Filmed off the coast of South Africa, Wild Ocean vividly protrays the need for conservation of this system for all mankind.
Again, visit the Denver Museum of Nature and Science for these and upcoming events.
