There's plenty of tours you should check out this fall, but how do you know which ones are worth checking out?

Here's a quick list of the tours coming through town this fall:

  • Arizona Fall Frenzy - September 18-20.  Various bands are playing each day.  Rob Thomas, Jason Mraz, The B-52s, Gavin Rossdale and Colbie Caillat are slated to play on the 18th.  On the 19th, Fall Out Boy and Blink 182 headline a day that also includes Slightly Stoopid, Pepper, Anberlin, Asher Roth, and Authority Zero.  September 20th has bands such as Social Distortion, Flogging Molly, Ben Harper & Relentless 7, The Bravery, Airborne Toxic Event, Carolina Liar, and Slowpoke.  The entire festival is taking place at Tempe Beach Park.  Tickets available at www.arizonafallfrenzy.com.  Price is $55/day.
  • Owl City - October 24 at Martini Ranch in Scottsdale, tickets are $13 adv. / $15 day of, 6:00 doors / 7:00 show time, Tickets available at Zia Records and TicketWeb.com.  Check out myspace.com/owlcity
  • Cartel - Cartel is putting their third studio album out this fall called "Cycles" on October 20th and are doing a nationwide tour in support of it this October and November.  Check them out at the Clubhouse in Tempe on November 18.  Tickets available through Lucky Man Productions and the Marquee Theater box office.  Tickets are $16, doors at 6:30.
  • Say Anything - November 20th at the Marquee Theater in Tempe..  Tickets are $16.50, doors at 6pm.  Tickets available through Lucky Man Productions and the Marquee Theater box office.
  • AP Tour Fall Ball - First inaugural Fall Ball tour presented by Alternative Press magazine.  October 18 at the Marquee Theater in Tempe..  Bands include The Academy Is and Mayday Parade headlining with Set Your Goals, the Secret Handshake and You Me at Six opening.  Tickets are $15, doors at 5:30pm.  Tickets available through Lucky Man Productions and the Marquee Theater box office.
