'Up All Night' casts 'America's Got Talent's' Sharon Osbourne

We don't get to see much of Sharon Osbourne in the scripted world, so the following bit of news certainly comes across as a welcome surprise.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the "Talk" co-host and "America's Got Talent" judge is going to play herself in an upcoming episode of "Up All Night" as a rival to Maya Rudolph's character of Ava. In a twist, this will come in the same exact episode that featured Henry Winkley turning up as Ava's father.

In the past, Sharon has appeared on both "Will & Grace" and "Days of Our Lives" -- but she was of course made most famous due to her appearance on "The Osbournes" TV show.
