Unwind: cocktails and food at Denver Botanic Gardens

The Gardens is launching an after-hours event series called Unwind. The events provide a special opportunity to visit the Gardens under the magic of a starry sky, with food, drinks and entertainment from some of the best venues in Denver. The first Unwind celebrates art with an exclusive opportunity to see the Chihuly exhibition before it opens to the public.

The first event is Thursday, June 12, from 6-9 p.m. Attendees will get a sneak-peek of the Chihuly, as well as enjoy food experience stations and signature drinks.

Check out the Breckenridge Distillery craft cocktail creations that will be featured:

Violet Hour

  • Breckenridge Vodka
  • Creme de Violette
  • Plum Bitters
  • Gooseberry
  • Citrus Soda
  • Flower garnish

Botanic Bourbon Boss

  • Breckenridge Bourbon
  • Peach Cardamom Tea
  • Dried Orange Peel
  • Honey, Turbinado and Sumac Syrup
  • Ribbon Candy garnish

Tickets are $50, or $45 for members 21 and older and are available here. The ticket price includes drinks from Breckenridge Distillery, AC Golden Brewing Company, Elk Mountain Brewing and Colorado Cider Co., food stations and VIP exhibition tours. A representative from Blake Street Glass Studio who will educate guests on the glass-blowing movement. Beverage vendors include – AC Golden Brewing Company, Breckenridge Distillery, Colorado Cider Co., Elk Mountain Brewing, Left Hand Brewery, Oogave Soda, Runa Tea Company.

A series of themed evening events will follow in August and September. Each Unwind event will feature cocktails, entertainment and food, enjoyed outdoors surrounded by stunning scenery and artful masterpieces.
