Were you as disappointed as I was to hear that the number one box office movies over the weekend were "Insidious Chapter 2" and "The Family"? It proves that bad ratings does not drive box office sales. If you are seeking an alternative to horror and mob movies, Kirk Cameron has invited audiences nationwide to join him on Tuesday, September 24, 2013, for his one-night live event of "Unstoppable" to nearly 700 theaters nationwide. In a press release from Provident Films and NCM Fathom Events they say:
"'Unstoppable' is an artistic and compelling documentary that takes audiences on a journey to the beginning of creation, and chronicles events that offer a deeper meaning of the role that pain and suffering have in our lives. 'Unstoppable' will prompt audiences to consider their personal views on faith, and encourage conversation starters about God, suffering, and hope.
Cameron, who has been scrutinized by liberal audiences for standing firm on his Christian views of faith, family, and morality, experienced record-breaking success for his 2012 one-night theatrical event monumental.
“It’s easy to celebrate your faith when things seem to be going well in your life. But when we encounter tragedy or adversity in our lives, we often question ‘Where is God in all of this?’ We wrestle with our hearts and minds to understand the reasoning,” says Cameron. “In 'Unstoppable', I take you on a personal voyage into the depths of my faith, based on something that happened in my life. We discover not only is there an answer to this pivotal question, there is great hope in it as well!”
'Unstoppable' will be broadcast to nearly 700 cinemas nationwide from The Vines Center at Liberty University, the largest Evangelical Christian university in the world, on Tuesday, Sept. 24 at 8:00 p.m. ET / 7:00 p.m. CT and tape delayed at 7:00 p.m. MT / 8:00 p.m. PT/AK/HI.
