Lance Brown is no stranger to the music industry he has helped the careers of Debra Cox and Jaheem, even as he took a break from the industry, music remained a staple in his life as a way to diversify his networks and stay relevant and in tune to the different genre and styles. Lance's style of singing combines rhythm and blues that is fused with smooth soul singing over hip-hop, pop and jazz beats.
He learned early in life that he had a gift for music, and for affecting women with his voice. This talented singer later recalls having dreams of performing in concert that often seemed like premonitions.
He states "that people might think that I'm lying about them, but as a kid I used to go to bed and dream I was onstage giving a concert. I could see myself singing and the people were screaming and the whole thing was so real to me, I used to wake up and really believing I had done a show."
He began singing in church at the 8 years old and has been writing and producing songs since high school. At the age of 19 he joined the group (1 AM) where he met Bobby Antoine Mass Avenue.
