Scattered snow flurries will continue across northwestern Pennsylvania this morning. high pressure will gradually build eastward across the area through this afternoon, so we can expect to see increasing amounts of sunshine as the day progresses.
High temperatures today will reach the low to mid 30s.
Tonight will feature partly to mostly cloudy skies with lows temperatures falling to the low 20s.
A storm system will track southeastward through the upper Mid West tonight and into the lower Great Lakes on Friday. Clouds will increase as this system approaches with some light rain or snow showers possible Friday afternoon.
Highs on Friday will top out near 40 degrees.
Rain and snow is likely Friday evening. Then, as colder air settles southward across the region, a change over to all snow is expected overnight Friday night with snow lasting into Saturday morning. Some accumulations will be possible.
Lows Friday night will fall to the low to mid 20s.
Saturday will be chilly with snow tapering to snow showers. Some additional light accumulations are possible.
Highs on Saturday will be in the mid to upper 30s.
Drier weather is expected to return for the second half of the weekend, but it will remain chilly.
