Beatles fan Sue Baker's goldmine of never-before-seen Beatles photos sold for over four times the auction house's estimates of their worth at auction on Tuesday, according to an early report.
(You can see a full selection of the photos in the slideshow at the bottom of the page.)
According to a report from the BBC, the sale of the pictures by Cameo Auctioneers went for £13,000 (roughly $20,700 USD), way over the initial estimates of £2,000 - £3,000 (roughly $3,190 - $4,790 USD) listed on the auction website.
The pictures, lot #196 in the Music Memorabilia Auction, were sold with copyright.

Someone paid WAAAAY too much for these few photos of the fabs and most of the photos are of their houses. Even with copyrights these are overpriced. These kinds of results to auctions is why original memorabilia is out of reach for the average fan!
I'd have to agree with Melody. The quality of the photos I saw looked very poor. I can't believe someone paid this much money for them.
