Weather like Denver will experience today is sure to feed the spring fever that so many Mile High City residents are feeling.
We will start the day with mostly sunny skies today and while there will be some increased clouds by late morning, there will still be plenty of sun this afternoon. Winds will generally be light but a bit breezy in some locations this afternoon, particularly to the west.
Temperatures today are going to top out in the mid to upper 60s, some 15 degrees above the normal high for today’s date of 52 degrees.

A storm system will arrive in the state later today bringing snow by this evening to the high country. A Winter Weather Advisory will be in effect for the central and northern mountains.
Here at lower elevations we may see some light sprinkles of rain after midnight tonight. Chances for precipitation increase in our area Friday morning and become likely in the afternoon.
It is not expected to be particularly cold tomorrow with highs in the mid-40s. As such the precipitation Friday should fall mostly as rain and during the afternoon hours. Some snow may be mixed in but right now any accumulations are expected to be light and on the order of less than an inch.
We will want to keep an eye on this though as colder temperatures would mean more snow than rain.
For the weekend, Saturday bounces right back with high temperatures just a few degrees below normal. Right now it looks like Sunday will be absolutely gorgeous with highs pushing the 70 degree mark.
