Far too many people know what they should be doing for their good health, but just decide that they are not feeling very motivated to do it. Unrealistic expectations are the most common .motivation killers. Expectations that are too high make it hard, and sometimes impossible, to continue doing what seemingly, is not working.
If a person takes a step outside his or her situation, he may be able to agree that it is a good thing that motivation decreases at this point. This is the time to perhaps change the program so not to do something repeatedly and expect different results.
If exercise motivation is an issue, going to a group exercise class that offers variety and high quality instruction and guidance can help tremendously. If you are in the Las Vegas area, try a class by J and D Fitness Group. Whether it is a StrollerStrength, OutFit, or Sunday Bootcamp class, all offer expert instruction and plenty of motivation.
Give yourself a chance. The chance to make decisions and be responsible for these decisions. You will feel your motivation increase and you will be less inclined to see yourself as the victim of time or circumstance. You will feel more in control, which is a very powerful force. Granted, it sometimes takes a great amount of effort to make these decisions. Rest assured though, your motivation will also be great after following through.
