A theme park in the Hunan Province of China has opened an attraction, albeit unlicensed, where park goers can do more than just tap on the screen to lob birds at the oh-so-smug green pigs.
Located at the Window of the World amusement park in Changhsa, Angry Birds is just a temporary attraction unfortunately. Opened on September 1st as part of the month-long Stress Reducing Festival, players can catapult Angry Birds plush toys at green pig balloons strategically placed around a toy brick fortress.

The attraction is located in the American section of the park, next to a scaled down version of Mount Rushmore. There has been some discussion about whether this attraction will continue past the festival this month, and several rumors are floating around that Rovio might entertain the idea of producing something more permanent down the line.
Angry Birds popularity in China has soared in recent months and neighboring regions including Hong Kong and Taiwan are quite smitten with the game as well. Visit any local night market and you will invariably find countless booths selling everything from iPhone covers to inflatable Angry Birds.
Last week, many Chinese celebrated the important Mid-Autumn Festival holiday, a day of celebration most associated with the consumption of moon cakes. Not surprisingly, Angry Birds moon cakes were available in both China and Hong Kong. And just in case you missed it, Rovio released a special Moon Festival level to its Angry Birds Seasons game.
