Also claims Wal-Mart a modern-day sharecropper that enslaves employees...
In the wake of the not guilty verdict against George Zimmerman some decry personal racism by the jury members, others blame institutional racism in the American judicial system, while at least one university professor blames The Almighty for being "a white racist god" as reported by the BizPac Review on July 15, 2013.
Anthea Butler, Associate Professor of Religious Studies and Africana Studies as well as the Graduate Chairwoman in the Department of Religious Studies at The University of Pennsylvania, puts the blame squarely on the shoulders of God.
As the professor who teaches theology to young minds states, "God ain’t good all of the time. In fact, sometimes, God is not for us."
Known as a long time advocate of abortion, Butler raises the possibility of two different version of God, coining the phrase and notion of an "American God" specifically for white males.
As a black woman in an nation that has taken too many pains to remind me that I am not a white man, and am not capable of taking care of my reproductive rights, or my voting rights, I know that this American god ain’t my god.
Taking her race and gender based theology to the next level, Butler claims:
As a matter of fact, I think he’s a white racist god with a problem.
More importantly, he is carrying a gun and stalking young black men.
Other than her latest theology of various Supreme Beings for specific demographics, Butler also caused a minor stir last April when she equated the big-box discount store Wal-Mart as essentially a sharecropper who managed to literally enslave their workers.
