University of Memphis football schedule back to form in 2010

Critics of Memphis Tiger football the last few years have had yawn inducing non-conference schedules high on their list of complaints. The C-USA section of the schedule generally doesn't invoke real excitement so the non-conference schedule needs to be top notch. The recent Tiger menus have driven many people away and made others apathetic. All that is beginning to change however.

The Memphis Tiger football schedule has been released for 2010 and it looks more like a schedule that Tiger fans have been trying to get back to. Two non-conference games are against traditional SEC rivals Tennessee and Mississippi State, who both appear on our schedule for the first time since the 2003 season. Also the Tigers will get a better shot at a Middle Tennessee team from the Sun Belt who have beaten Memphis twice over the last three seasons. In addition the Tigers have a road visit to long-time arch rival Louisville of the Big East.
