University of Maine recap- December 29th

The last Sunday of 2013 was a busy one for the University of Maine athletic teams.

Dimitry Coronel scored 27 points and pulled down eight rebounds to lead the Men's basketball team to a 89-85 overtime victory over Middle Tennessee State at Chattanooga, Tennessee.

It was the Black Bears first victory since November 10th.

Lauren Bodine scored 24 points, including 6-9 from three point range as the women's basketball team fell 76-75 to Sacred Heart.

The men's hockey team skated to a 1-1 tie against Cornell in the championship game of the Florida College Classic.

Cornell claimed the championship, by winning in a shootout.

Devin Shore scored the lone goal for the Black Bears.
