The University of Maine Black Bears football team will play one of the big boys in the big ten when they travel to Chicago on Saturday afternoon to take on Northwestern.
The Black Bears come in with a 3-0 record and a number 25 ranking in the FCS coaches poll.
Marcus Wasilewski threw for 263 yards and four touchdowns on 23-32 passing for the Black Bears in a 35-22 win over Bryant
Wasilewski has thrown for five touchdowns and rushed for two through three games. Rickey Stevens has also rushed for two touchdowns for the Black Bears.
This will be the second game against a FBS team this season for Maine. They defeated the University of Massachusetts 24-14 on September 7th.
Northwestern (3-0) defeated Western Michigan 38-17 last week. The Wildcats also defeated California and Syracuse this season.
A win this week against Maine and next week at home against Ohio State will have the Wildcats thinking about the possibility of playing in a BCS bowl game.
