Step back in time to a relaxing beach resort. Universal’s Cabana Bay Beach Resort is finally open and will transport guests back to the 1950s and 60s. The new resort hotel, Universal’s fourth, promises a blast to the past along with contemporary accommodations and family fun.

The first 600 family suites opened today with the remaining units, 1,800 in total, to open this summer. Besides the moderate-priced family suites, Cabana Bay includes Galaxy Bowl, 10 lanes of luxury bowling; a Jack LaLanne Fitness Studio; retro themed Swizzle Lounge and Atomic Tonic; a food court; fun family dining at Bayliner Diner; and an iconic dive tower waterslide that speeds guests into a 10,000 sq. ft. zero entry pool. A second pool and lazy river will open this summer.

Family suites sleep up to six people and feature a fold-out foam bed, two flat-screen TVs, a kitchenette, and, best of all, exclusive on-site hotel benefits at Universal Orlando (like Early Park Admission one hour before the theme parks open and free shuttles).

Rates for Cabana Bay family suites start at $174 per night, but can also run as low as $134 per night depending on how long you stay. The standard guest rooms (which open this summer) begin at $119 per night and can go down to $94 per night depending on length of stay.

For reservations, call 1-888-273-1311 or visit www.universalorlando.com. Universal's Cabana Bay Beach Resort is co-owned and managed by Loews Hotels & Resorts.
