Park hours are on the short side this week, because early February is typically one of the slowest times of the year for Orlando theme parks. Slow season is a great time to visit, however, because fewer people means shorter lines and more fun! Here is what the schedule looks like at the Universal Orlando Resort for the week ahead:
Islands of Adventure
IOA park hours for Feb. 6-12, 2012:
Monday to Wednesday: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Thursday to Sunday: 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Ride closings for this week at Universal's Islands of Adventure:
Jurassic Park River Adventure is closed for refurbishment through Feb. 6, but the attractions should reopen on Feb. 7.
The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man goes down for refurbishment on Feb. 8 and remains closed until sometime in March.
Universal Studios
Universal park hours for Feb. 6-12, 2012:
Monday to Friday: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Saturday: 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Sunday: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Upcoming events at Universal Studios:
Universal's famous Mardi Gras celebration begins on Saturday, Feb. 11 and runs through April 14.
Universal City Walk is open daily from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m.
