The Wizarding World of Harry Potter expansion is scheduled to open this summer, and judging by the new vacation package offered by Universal Orlando Resort, things are moving along right on track.

With an all-new theme park area being constructed at Universal Studios Florida, the Wizarding World will jump to two theme parks. Diagon Alley, the London domain of Harry's wizard and witch pals, will open with a major new attraction in Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringott's, immersive theming, and multiple shopping and dining outlets so that guests can take home a piece of the wizardry. Diagon Alley will be connected with Universal's Islands of Adventure park, home to the Hogsmeade and Hogwarts section of the Wizarding World, with the Hogwarts Express, a gleaming new train attraction.

Visiting both Diagon Alley and Hogsmeade will require park-to-park tickets, which start at $144.84 for a one-day adult ticket with tax.

Want to make a whole vacation out of it? Universal Orlando's Wizarding World of Harry Potter Vacation Package offers guests a full Harry Potter experience, starting with a personalized letter of welcome and a plush owl. It's a Muggle version of Owl Post.

The package also includes:

  • 4-night hotel accommodations

  • 1 breakfast at The Three Broomsticks in Hogsmeade
  • 1 breakfast at The Leaky Cauldron in Diagon Alley
