Reno, NV – As a way of saying thanks to the brave men and women that serve and protect the citizens of Reno-Sparks, the show’s promoter is giving away 1,000 tickets to the city’s first responders. “We often take for granted the care and services that nurses, doctors, firemen and paramedics provide and the peace and safety that police officers provide”, says Mike Allen, Co-Founder and Promoter for Universal Concert Group. “We just dial 911 and these first responders are on their way immediately to help save lives. We want to be their 911 for a little entertainment on December 13th.”
That entertainment will include three of the most popular and successful rock acts of the 80’s and 90’s and performing more than three hours of top 10 hits from multi-platinum selling albums. “These three artists combined have more hits than Pete Rose”, says Allen. Co-Headliners Vince Neil (Legendary Voice of Motley Crue) and Queensryche will each perform 70-minute sets respectively and the show’s opener, Great White will perform a hits-filled 45-minute set. As for concert goers, Allen adds, “I think one would find it difficult to find a better value for their concert dollar than this billing, with ticket prices starting at just $19 and no more than $59 for the best seats in the house. You could spend more money in a jukebox playing this many top hits.”
Vince Neil’s unmistakable voice leads some of the greatest rock songs of this generation and on his solo tour he performs several Motley Crue monster hits, including “Shout At The Devil,” “Home Sweet Home,” “Girls, Girls, Girls,” “Dr. Feelgood,” “Kickstart My Heart,” “Same Ol’ Situation,” and the recent “Saints of Los Angeles,” which was nominated for a Grammy Award in 2009 for Best Hard Rock Performance. Vince performs these and many more during his solo tour dates.
As for Multi-Platinum selling artist Queensryche, which features the vocals of Todd La Torre, concert goers can expect the band to perform many of their classics such as “Queen of The Reich”, “Empire”, “The Lady Wore Black”, “Jet City Woman”, “Silent Lucidity” as well as hits from their new self-titled release including “Fallout”, “Where Dreams Go To Die” and “Redemption”. Their new release has climbed as high as #23 on the Billboard Top 200, giving the band renewed success and rejuvenated support from their dedicated fan base.
Celebrating nearly 30 years of classic rock, Great White has sold over 10 million albums worldwide, has had 6 Top 100 Billboard Hits, 9 Top 200 Billboard Albums, Two Platinum Albums – One Gold, and is a Grammy Nominated artist for “Best Hard Rock Performance”.
The band will be performing all their hits including “Once Bitten, Twice Shy”, “House Of Broken Love”, “Rock Me”, “Mista Bone”, “Save Your Love”, “Lady Red Light” and more.
