The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) released the week-four regional cross country rankings on Tuesday, and the University of Redlands women's cross country team rose into the top-10 of the West Region for the first time this season, ranking 10th overall.
With junior Della Lyle (Buffalo, WY) leading the way for the Maroon and Gray, Redlands shined during the team's first 6K-race of the season at the Pomona-Pitzer Invitational this past weekend. Lyle paced the Bulldogs with her time of 22:52.4 for seventh place overall, and finished behind only one other Division III competitor at the race. In addition, the time was just 10 seconds off of her season-best mark from a year ago.
