Unity of Charlottesville’s Women of Unity are hosting their first annual Harvest Festival on Saturday, Nov. 9, 2013, from 11:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Unity is located at 2825 Hydraulic Road in Charlottesville, VA. The event is free and open to the public.

"We wanted to create a memorable and fun day for the entire family," said Rhonda Cooley, one of the Harvest Festival’s directors. "There will be games and activities for children - including a clown, local artisans, home-baked goods, local musicians, seasonal hand-made wreaths for both harvest and holiday, and plenty of food."

Also available at the festival are walks and other activities on Unity’s recently completed Shalom Labyrinth, a full-scale replica of the labyrinth found in Chartres, France. Healing practitioners from Unity’s Holistic Healing Center will also be present to offer demonstrations of different alternative healing modalities.
