A Brewster County, Texas, man wanted for failure to appear on "several felony charges" has been arrested by United States Marshals.

Justin Vega Lara was taken into custody earlier today in Odessa, TX.

Lara had been on the run from Brewster County, where he is wanted on three outstanding felony warrants. According to the Brewster County Sheriff's Office, Lara failed to show up for District Court on "several occasions".

Odessa is approximately 200 miles northeast of the area from which he fled. He was found in the 3700 block of Bowie Avenue, in Odessa.

It is currently unknown if Lara will be housed in Ector County Jail while awaiting transfer back to Brewster County. Jail records as of 5:00 p.m. do not show Lara as an inmate in Ector County.
