United Airlines is dealing with a big glitch that caused them to actually sell tickets for as little as $2.50 to their customers. On Sept. 13, LA Times reported that these tickets were sold and they may actually decide to let people keep them for that price. Did you get lucky enough to get a cheap plane ticket?
One ticket sold that was from New York to Houston and the person only paid $5 for the ticket. Another flight from Washington, D.C. to Austin, Texas sold for only $2.50. This is really good deal and everyone went to Twitter to share it hoping they could keep it.
They actually had to shut down their online sales for a little bit so that they could fix it and stop selling these cheap tickets. Right now United Airlines has now confirmed that they will honor the prices on these tickets and the people who bought them are really happy they are getting a cheap trip. Did you get one of these cheap tickets during the United Airlines glitch? Sound off in the comments.
