Unique rabbit art and jewelry at Rosebud’s Wagon (Photos)

Readers are by now familiar with Humphrey Bogart, the handsome bunny-about-town who helps children to read, rides in his own baby carriage, has his own music video and is currently touring the country with his assistants, Debby and Vic. Vic is busy documenting their cross-country trip in his blog, Roamin’ with Rabbits and Debby has just launched her new Etsy shop, Rosebud’s Wagon.

The shop is named after Debby’s first rabbit, Rosebud, a rescue rabbit who was the inspiration for Debby’s rescue work with animals (which now spans over twenty years). Now that Debby has retired from managing the rabbit department at Best Friends Animal Society, she has more time to work on her art. Debby enjoys working with natural stone and vintage beads, and rabbits and other animals feature prominently in her art. Purchases of items at Rosebud’s Wagon help defray the cost of the somewhat terrifying amount of food that Bogie – all 25 pounds of him – consumes.

Debby will continue to add new items to the shop, and she does take custom orders. Debby, Vic, Bogie and an assortment of other rescued bunnies are on an extended road trip right now, and Debby utilizes her ‘down’ time creating additional art for the Etsy shop. She will, of course, remain involved as an advocate for rabbits and all animals.

Bogie suggests you check out the slideshow to see a few of the items in the Rosebud’s Wagon shop, and visit the shop here.

Vic and Debby are kindly documenting their travels with the bunnies (Bogie’s posse include Joey Bishop, Angie Dickenson. Haille Berry, Doc Holiday and Zsolt) and one dog, Zoe. Vic and Debby aim to show that it is possible to travel with bunnies – no need to feel tied down just because you have long-eared dependents.
