There are no shortage of Easter weekend events in Atlanta, but here are four special ones that could work for families of all sizes, ages, and abilities to sit still. As a bonus, there's something for Mom and Dad too! So for those who want to get out of the kitchen and just make some memories with their family, check out four great possibilities!
Southern Art: Want to skip spending hours in the kitchen? Head to the deliciously fabulous restaurant owned by famed chef Art Smith (chef to Oprah Winfrey). On Easter Sunday, March 31, from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m , Southern Art is having a fantastic brunch complete with an Easter egg hunt (at 1 p.m.) and even a petting zoo! Let the kids enjoy the hanging out with the bunnies while Mom and Dad get to enjoy a delectable brunch buffet including charcuterie and local cheeses, chilled seafood and carved meat stations and lots of their famous buttermilk biscuits. Be sure to save room for dessert! The 12 layer red velvet cake is to die for! They will also have a kids corner with grilled cheese and chicken fingers to make any kid happy! Cost: $55 adults, $28 children 7-12, children 6 and under are complimentary.
Legoland Discovery Center: If spending hours lingering over brunch is not going to happen for your family, perhaps a day at Legoland Discovery Center is just the thing. On Saturday March 30, head to Legoland Discovery Center at Phipps Plaza to join in the Easter egg hunt to find the eggs hidden around the attractions. Get there early and enjoy a "bunny brunch" from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. The Easter Bunny himself will be there (and available for photos)! Tickets must be bought online and are limited. Cost: $25 adults and children 4 and over, children 3 and under are complimentary.
103 West: For families looking to splurge on an over the top display of food, hop over to 103 West in Buckhead for their family friendly brunch.
