Unikgo adds a slate of new adventures along the Mexican Caribbean

Attention vacationers heading to the Cancun-Riviera Maya-Tulum resort strip on the powdery sands of the Mexican Caribbean: The folks at want you to know about their recently improved website said to feature “exclusive access to adventures and experiences” along the 80-mile-long strip.

Among the site's bookable experiences are trips to the ruins of ancient Maya cities, cavern diving, yoga classes in the jungle, getting chummy with monkeys and dolphin encounters, to name just a few. Or perhaps you'd like to get your adrenalin flowing to the max by skydiving over the Caribbean Sea, flyboarding or diving with bull sharks.

“This region has so much to offer compared with other destinations,” explains Scott Olson, founder of Unikgo (pronounced unique go). “Many people don’t even know these types of activities are available.” Unikgo works with both small and large tour operators “to show travelers what the region really has to offer in terms of fun outdoor adventures.”

He said Unikgo is preparing to unveil a new “Getaways” page in which travelers can book their entire vacation through, from the hotel to the activities and experiences. The packages will include stays in extraordinary homes and hand-picked boutique hotels “to give travelers an exclusive experience they might never have imagined.”

Getting there: Cancun International Airport serves the Cancun, Riviera Maya and Tulum resort areas. Vacationers can catch nonstop hops to the airport from major U.S. gateways including Atlanta, Charlotte, Chicago-O'Hare, Dallas/Ft. Worth, Denver, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, New York-JFK, Phoenix and San Francisco, among others.
